I had the opportunity to be a part of the Missouri State Advertising Team, called ‘The Energy Crew’. The team consisted of 17 individuals; our majors ranged from advertisement and promotion to research and analytics, and everything in between. Our task was to create a recruitment campaign for AFPM (Americas Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers).
Throughout the course of three months, we researched, formed a solid campaign strategy, and made it come to life in three weeks. We competed with various colleges and universities across the nation. After submitting our Final Presentation, we were pleased to hear we made the top three, and were selected to present our ‘The Energy Crew’ to the board of judges in Houston, TX. I was honored to get the opportunity to be one of the five individuals to represent the team.
We were ecstatic to learn that ‘The Energy Crew’ was selected the National Champions of the 2017 AFPM Recruitment Challenge.
